marcellinafuriosa: Vanity Fair is disappointed with her minions (sarcasm)
[personal profile] marcellinafuriosa

Lately I cannot stop thinking about that Aesop's fable about the lamb and the wolf (some versions, it's a lion).  This lamb is drinking by the side of a stream and the wolf (or lion) comes along and says, "Mmm, that lamb looks tasty, plus ze's conveniently located to a thirst-quenching stream.  I think I'll eat hir for my lunch.  But just to make things more fun, before I kill hir and eat hir, I'll convince hir that it's hir own fault."

Please, please, next time I want to read the WSJ editorial page, or the comments on anything, someone remind me that I can achieve the same results by covering myself with syrup and lying down on an anthill.
